Privacy policies, in principle, are good things for app users. They are disclosures to protect you, the app user, by letting you know what the app publisher will or won't do with your personal information.
Our approach to user privacy is simple: The only reason we may gain access to any of your personal information (e.g. your contact info, profile info, login info, device info, geographic info, etc) is so we can deliver the user experience that you want. If we do obtain any of your personal information, we will safeguard it, never share it with anyone you don't want us to, and never use it for any purpose other than delivering the experience you expect.
End User License Agreement (EULA)
and Terms of Service (TOS)
EULAs and TOSs are contracts that are sometimes imposed on users by app publishers to restrict user behavior and disallow things that users want to do.
Our approach to these matters is simple: With regard to your use of Shatoetry, common sense should dictate what you should and shouldn't do, what is yours and what isn't, etc. If problems do arise in these areas, we may be forced to dig in; but in the meantime we'd like to believe that we can get along without demanding that you, the user, enter into constrictive, one-sided obligatory contract as a prerequisite to having fun with this app.
Notwithstanding the forgoing, the terms and conditions of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply to this app (sorry about that, it's beyond our control).
Most of all, please be respectful of Mr. Shatner. He deserves it.
And have a ball.
